DTF (Direct to Film) printing transfers your design onto a special film that is then heat-pressed onto garments. It works on cotton, polyester, blends, and both light and dark fabrics.
DTF transfers work on cotton, polyester, cotton/poly blends, and many other fabrics. Performance fabrics may require testing.
A heat press is strongly recommended for consistent results. An iron can work in a pinch, but durability may vary.
Most DTF transfers apply best at: 300–335°F, 8–15 seconds, Medium to firm pressure. Different materials can be pressed at different times, temperatures, and pressures. Always test before full production, especially when changing garments.
Our DTF transfers support both hot and cold peel. If edges lift, try cold peel and add a short post-press.
Post-pressing is optional but recommended. A 3–5 second post-press improves durability and wash resistance.
We recommend waiting 24 hours before washing when possible.
Wash inside out, in cold water, avoid bleach and high heat, tumble dry low or hang dry.
Edge lifting is usually caused by insufficient pressure, heat, or time. Increase press time slightly or try cold peel.
Yes. Light tack presses between layers work best, followed by a final full press.
Yes, but a pressing pillow is recommended to create a flat surface and even pressure.
